An multiplier event on "Environment Protection" presented an online vocational training platform

ENVIRONMENT
On 25th of July a multiplier event on "Environmental protection" took place to share the intellectual outputs of a project with a wider audience. The event was organized by the University of Agribusiness and Rural Development, together with City Hall of District "North"of Plovdiv municipality. The multiplier event is part of an international Erasmus + Strategic Partnership project "ViVET - Video Supported Vocational Education and Training” (No. 2016-1-DE02-KA202-003465).
The platform is aimed at users who would like to upgrade their skills and careers through training and courses in a fully interactive environment. The theoretical productions are supported by a wealth of video material and have been developed by partners from Germany, Spain, Italy and Bulgaria.
At the moment, 19 trainings have been developed on the platform, which include 217 courses and more than 10,000 videos to support their practical application. The main areas of content developed are agriculture, business, environmental, health and healthcare, IT and software, media, politics, tourism and interdisciplinary sciences, but the platform is also open to teachers who would like to develop new courses according to their competencies.
