New class with 19 studentsin El Salvador has started to learn our Geriatric Care Training on ViVET!



Our geriatric care basic training covers all fundamental basic knowledge about Geriatric Care. It is a very good preparation training for the people who want to start their career in this field. And now, the students from El Salvador seized this opportunity of taking our free online geriatric care training to start their preparation for a career.

This training is a beginner level, which is suitable for anyone, who has an interest in geriatric care. This training is made by Miss Silvia Dargel. She is a state-registered nurse and has been following her traineeships on her way to exams in theory and practice right from the start of her careers. She is currently working as an Educational teacher in Forum Vocational  Training center. This training has combined theoretical knowledge with practical tips and questions. The students can learn it anytime they want, anywhere they are and with any pace, they intend. 

With the help of the El Salvador embassy, these students will get a chance to come to Germany to take 3 years of German job training of Senior Health Care this year. While they are waiting for the visa in El Salvador, they can well prepare themselves with the training on ViVET. Our geriatric care training contains the following courses:

  • Course 1: My first day in a care facility (8 Std.)
  • Course 2: Nursing Profession (8 Std.)
  • Course 3: Hygiene in Geriatric Care (8 Std.)
  • Course 4: Personal Care in Senior Care (8 hours)
  • Course 5: Illness and health in elderly care (8 hours)
  • Course 6: Care of older people (8 Std.)
  • Course 7: Nutrition for the elderly (8 hours)
  • Course 8: Legal Fundamentals in Nursing (8 hours)
  • Course 9: Communication in Nursing (8 hours)
  • Course 10: Emergency Behavior (8 Std.)
