The Course in Soil Protection will introduce the trainees to the major soil pollutants as a result of agricultural, industrial, mining, construction activities, acid rains, oil spealige, etc. Learning the impact on the environment and the importance of soil conservation and sustainable use; discuss techniques to prevent land degradation from human activity, contamination, salinisation, soil erosion and techniques to promote restoration of contaminated and disturbed land.
